The Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) have recently changed their policy to responding to private premises alarms. The policy puts the responsibility on you, the owner of the premises, to ensure the alarm is genuine and that a police presence is necessary at the premises.

This system works very well when working in conjunction with mobile patrols, this service operates between 24hours a day 365 days of the year..

In the event of alarm activation, our 24 call centre will alert the nearest patrol response team to respond immediately and investigate the cause of the alarm. If the alarm is false they will reset the alarm make a brief report and carry  the following inspection:

• Checking and / or Closing Windows
• Switching off lights or equipment
• Reporting obstructed fire exits
• Reporting defective security devices, locks, fences etc
• Setting and deactivating alarm system
• Checking and reporting potential fire hazards
• Checking for any signs of intrusion, vandalism or graffiti.
